Horizon Distributors, Inc., a Horizon Center of POOLCORP, seeks a Customer Service Representative in Sarasota, FL to greet customers, provide product guidance, and process orders in a busy sales center. You’ll utilize handheld devices and an inventory system to ensure accurate loading and timely service.

This full-time role offers a consistent schedule, competitive hourly pay, and performance bonuses in the summer.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-service attitude required.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear spoken and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in and phone customers and identify needs.
• Recommend product solutions and upsell where appropriate.
• Collaborate with team and use company resources to deliver value.
• Prepare sales orders and assist customers in loading merchandise.
• Follow up with customers to generate opportunities and repeat business.
• Resolve complaints professionally and promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked sales center.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
