Job summary

Michaels is seeking an energetic events coordinator in Saint Cloud to plan and run kid-focused birthday parties and in-store events. You will engage a diverse audience, guide craft activities, and upsell party add-ons while maintaining a friendly checkout and shopping experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple events, handling administrative tasks, and communicating clearly with clients and team members. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once, including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes.
• Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment.
• Demonstrate and guide participants in craft projects and activities.
• Facilitate add-ons like goody bags and balloons.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members.
• Handle administrative tasks such as emails, calls, and paperwork.
