Michaels is seeking an energetic events coordinator at our Ramsey store to plan, coordinate and facilitate events including kids' birthday parties, craft classes, and other activities. Deliver friendly customer service by helping guests shop and complete checkout efficiently.

Responsibilities include coordinating events, teaching crafts, upselling rewards, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring store safety and cleanliness while delivering a fun, creative experience.

Formación

• Must have experience planning and running children's events in a retail or community setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact with guests of all ages in a friendly, engaging manner.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with in-store customer service and checkout procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once, including children's parties and craft classes.
• Engage with clients of all ages to create a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate and instruct participants in crafts and activities.
• Coordinate add-ons like goody bags and balloons.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members.
• Handle emails, phone calls, and paperwork related to events.
• Assist customers in finding products and providing solutions.
• Support Buy Online Pick Up In Store and Ship From Store processes.
• Assist with truck unloading and stocking as part of event setup.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety during events.
