Job summary

Michaels Stores in Roseville is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator to plan and run in-store events, including kids’ birthday parties, while delivering friendly customer service. You will help guests shop, participate in crafts, and manage event logistics from setup to teardown.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and experience with children’s events. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and coordinating events, especially for kids or family audiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events in-store, including children’s parties and crafts classes.
• Engage with customers of all ages and help them shop and participate in activities.
• Demonstrate and guide participants through crafts and activities; handle add-ons (balloons, goody bags).
• Communicate event details with clients and store teams; handle emails and calls as needed.
• Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and SOP adherence; assist with restocking and planograms.
