Job summary

Living Spaces in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an interior design–minded associate to engage guests, present customized room concepts, and drive sales through our Guest Engagement Model. You will advise on design details, fabrics, furniture, and accessories while expanding product knowledge and supporting a high-energy store team.

The role requires 1–2 years in retail/furniture, an interior design degree, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; design software knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Interior design education required; 1–2 years in retail or furniture environment preferred.
• Experience in customer service, retail, or furniture store environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests and execute sales proficiency using Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model.
• Determine guests’ goals and requirements of their design project.
• Provide design advice, product knowledge and recommendations.
• Present customized room designs with fabrics, furniture, tables and accessories.
• Maintain current knowledge of merchandise lines and features.
• Process transactions in the Point of Sale system.
• Complete required training and participate in ongoing learning opportunities.
• Support store team and help achieve revenue targets.
• Ensure store readiness for grand opening by following style guides and daily task lists.
• Able to work weekends and most holidays in a fast-paced environment.
