Job summary

Living Spaces is seeking a design-focused sales professional to in-store guests, leveraging our Guest Engagement Model and interior design emphasis. You will guide customers from goals to customized room designs, showcasing fabrics, furniture, and accessories while maintaining strong product knowledge and providing excellent service.

The role requires 1–2 years in customer service/retail, an interior design credential, and the ability to work weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in interior design required or equivalent.
• 1-2 years customer service/retail/furniture store experience.
• Vocational certificate or degree in interior design; internal certification after hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests and execute sales using the Guest Engagement Model.
• Determine guests’ goals and design requirements.
• Provide design advice, product knowledge, and recommendations.
• Present customized room designs with samples and accessories.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and design inspiration.
• Process transactions in the POS system.
• Complete required training and participate in ongoing learning.
• Support store team to delight guests and achieve revenue targets.
• Ensure the store is ready and follow daily task lists and style guides.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
