Job summary

Living Spaces in Frisco, TX is seeking an Interior Design Sales Specialist to engage guests, assess design goals, and present custom room solutions. You will advise on fabrics, furniture, tables, and accessories, while maintaining product knowledge and processing transactions at the POS.

The role requires completing internal design certification and supporting the team to achieve revenue targets. Ideal candidates hold an interior design degree, 1–2 years in retail or furniture, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Associate degree in interior design or equivalent
• 1–2 years in customer service, retail, or furniture store
• Vocational certificate or degree in interior design; internal certification required
• Experience with Microsoft Office; knowledge of design software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests and execute sales proficiency using Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model
• Determine guests’ goals and requirements of their design project
• Provide design advice, product knowledge, and recommendations
• Present customized room designs with fabrics, furniture, tables, and accessories
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise lines and features
• Process customer transactions in the POS system
• Complete required training and participate in ongoing learning
• Support store team to delight guests and meet revenue targets
• Contribute to store readiness and complete daily task lists
• Work weekends and most holidays in a fast-paced environment
