Living Spaces in Grand Prairie, TX is hiring an Interior Designer Sales Specialist to engage in-store guests with a design-focused selling approach. You will analyze design requests, present room designs, and recommend fabrics, furniture, and accessories that match the project goals.

The role requires an interior design education with certification readiness, 1–2 years in retail or furniture sales, and strong knowledge of design software and Microsoft Office. Weekend and holiday work is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A. or A.S.) or equivalent in interior design.
• 1-2 years experience in customer service, retail, or furniture store.
• Vocational certificate or degree in interior design.
• Must complete Living Spaces internal certification program.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests and execute sales proficiency using Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model.
• Determine guests’ goals and requirements of their design project.
• Provide relevant design advice, product knowledge, and recommendations.
• Present customized room designs with fabrics, furniture, and accessory options.
• Maintain current product knowledge, features, benefits and availability.
• Process customer transactions in the Point of Sale system.
• Support store team and help achieve revenue targets.
• Ensure store readiness and complete daily style guides.
• Work weekends and most holidays in a fast-paced environment.
