Job summary

Living Spaces in Farmers Branch, TX is seeking a Retail ID sales specialist focused on in-store guest engagement. You will apply an interior design mindset to advise on fabrics, furniture, and room layouts while guiding guests through the design process and sales flow.

The role requires an interior design degree or certification, 1–2 years of customer service/retail experience, and the ability to work weekends in a fast-paced environment; comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in interior design.
1-2 years experience in customer service, retail, or furniture store environment.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Experience with Microsoft Office programs is required; design software knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet and engage guests and execute sales proficiency using the Guest Engagement Model.
Determine guests’ goals and requirements of their design project.
Provide relevant design advice, product knowledge, and recommendations.
Present customized room designs with fabrics, furniture, tables and accessories.
Maintain knowledge of merchandise, features, availability and benefits.
Process customer transactions in the POS system.
Complete required training within the timeframe and participate in ongoing learning.
