Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Personnel Coordinator to lead HR activities in-store. You will recruit, onboard, maintain personnel files, and ensure payroll accuracy while delivering strong customer service to associates.

You will collaborate with store management and HR teams, organize events, support training, and ensure compliance with laws and company policies. This role emphasizes attention to detail, confidentiality, and a people-first approach in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Soft skills and professional demeanor required for fast-paced retail environments.
• Experience with HR processes, compliance, and records management preferred.
• Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, and associate relations is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store and Department Management to plan staffing needs and manage full-cycle recruitment.
• Conduct interviews, prescreen applicants, and coordinate orientation sessions.
• Represent the company at local recruiting events and job fairs.
• Maintain accurate personnel files, time and attendance records, and process associate data changes.
• Serve as liaison between store associates and HR, Payroll, and Benefits teams.
• Assist with performance management, leaves of absence, and compliance documentation.
• Support scheduling processes and operational programs.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
