Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Nashua, NH is seeking a Personnel Coordinator to lead recruiting, onboarding, and HR support at the store level. You’ll partner with Store and Department Management to plan staffing, maintain records, and ensure payroll accuracy.

You will handle interviews, orientation, and associate relations, while upholding compliance and delivering excellent service. This role offers visibility in a dynamic retail environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, associate relations, or related field.
• Experience supporting HR functions in a fast-paced retail/service environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with HRIS systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store and Department Management to plan staffing needs and manage full-cycle recruitment.
• Conduct interviews, prescreen applicants, and coordinate orientation sessions.
• Represent the company at local recruiting events and job fairs.
• Maintain accurate personnel files, time and attendance records, and process associate data changes.
• Serve as liaison between store associates and HR, Payroll, and Benefits teams.
• Assist with performance management, leaves of absence, and compliance documentation.
• Support scheduling processes and operational programs.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
