Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers with home improvement needs. You will greet shoppers, answer questions, and assist with finding products across departments such as Appliances, Hardware, Plumbing, and more.

You will spend time listening to customers, stocking merchandise, and processing orders while delivering friendly service throughout your shift. A base level of computer and retail tech experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer or similar digital devices.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform duties requiring lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock shelves and replenish supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to support customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut and thread pipes, cut/pack wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or at checkout.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
