Community Choice Financial Family of Brands in Lakeland, FL is hiring a Customer Service Representative to help customers with check cashing, money transfers, and payments. This entry-level role offers hands-on training in a high‑performance, in‑store environment.

You will build relationships, process transactions, and participate in local events, with a full-time schedule, weekends included. The position emphasizes excellent communication, data accuracy, and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to accurately enter data.
• Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required. All background checks are conducted, and their results are considered, in accordance with applicable law.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time; moving and transporting up to 25 pounds; moving inside and outside of the store; and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
• Full-time, in-person attendance including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers to cultivate lasting relationships that drive repeat business.
• Review, validate, and process customer transactions with accuracy.
• Maximize customer success by offering personalized financial services that fit their lifestyle.
• Enter and maintain customer information in a POS system with precision.
• Build new business by completing daily call campaigns.
• Assist in customer account management and collections by accepting payments and managing customer appointments.
• Participate in in-store and community events.
• Maintain store appearance and meet cleanliness standards to enhance customer experience.
• Maintain security protocols and conduct opening/closing procedures, including vault and cash drawer management, as needed.
• Uphold company policies and comply with laws and regulations.
• Stay updated on product and process changes.
• Maintain a full-time schedule including weekends.
