Job summary

Channel Partners is seeking an Area Execution Manager for a full-time, field-based role in the Detroit area. You will lead merchandising, resets, and in-store installations across an assigned market, supervising a team of associates and ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of projects.

The role requires 2+ years in retail merchandising, strong planogram literacy, and the ability to travel within the market.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail merchandising or related field experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute planograms and project instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee in-store merchandising activities in the assigned territory — resets, new-item cut-ins, planogram compliance, displays, fixture assembly and installation, signage, and inventory.
• Direct the in-store team on assigned projects: communicate project instructions, sequence tasks on site, and inspect completed work against standards.
• Serve as the in-market point of contact; build and maintain strong relationships with store management and client representatives.
• Complete accurate, on-time project reporting (visit completion, photos, data) through mobile apps and verify reporting accuracy.
• Plan efficient daily travel between stores to meet project timelines.
• Enforce safety standards on site and correct unsafe conditions.
• Escalate coverage gaps, staffing needs, and client/store issues to District Manager.
• Lead the in-store team of associates to complete projects on time and with quality.
• Train, coach, and demonstrate standards for merchandising, installation, break fix, safety, and retailer requirements.
• Provide input on associate performance and onboarding as requested.
