Job summary

Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver an engaging in-store experience for fans of music and pop culture. You will use product knowledge to assist customers, stock shelves, and help merchandise the store to create a visually appealing space.

You will work with store leadership to ensure excellent customer service, process sales at the register, and participate in planogram changes while upholding store policies and security. This role emphasizes teamwork and a passion for fandom.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and sales abilities.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Age 16+ requirement (per posting)

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience to encourage repeat visits.
• Maintain visual standards in assigned sales floor zones.
• Operate the register and drive add-on sales with store programs.
• Share fashion and music trend information with management and HQ partners.
• Support theft prevention and store security alongside management.
• Help maintain stock room and keep the store tidy.
• Collaborate with team to complete daily tasks.
