Job summary

Hot Topic is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate who loves music and pop culture to help create the best in-store experience for fans. You will share your fandom knowledge, stock and replenish products, and merchandise the store in a visually appealing way while staying hyper-focused on the in-store experience.

You will cover the sales floor, operate the register, and drive add-on sales with benefits such as BOPIS and curbside pickup. Teamwork and communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred, especially in customer service.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong customer service and selling skills.
• Ability to navigate the store and assist with merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience to encourage repeat visits.
• Cover sales floor zones and maintain visual standards.
• Operate the register and drive add-on sales with benefits like BOPIS.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ.
• Maintain stockroom organization and store cleanliness.
