Job summary

Acosta Group is seeking a part-time Event Associate to perform in-store product demonstrations, manage demonstration equipment, and engage customers with product knowledge. The role requires standing for extended periods, food handling, and teamwork to ensure successful client events in retail settings.

You will interact with consumers, prepare samples, and document outcomes while maintaining a professional appearance and following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
• Proficient ability to use a personal computer and a mobile device.
• Food Safety Professional Certification, Local Food handlers permit if required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies in designated areas.
• Communicate with store management when Supervisor is absent.
• Be the point of contact for events in the store and assist other Event Specialists.
• Provide leadership and knowledge to the team.
• Learn and communicate features and benefits of products.
• Prepare and serve food samples following safety guidelines.
• Set up and prepare Event Table for execution.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet objectives.
