Job summary

Acosta Group seeks an Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations, maintain knowledge of products, serve and intercept consumers, and sell products professionally. You will manage event equipment in stores and uphold a professional appearance.

The role is capped at 25 hours per week with potential scheduling changes; you will support supervisors, prepare samples with safety in mind, and coordinate with store personnel to meet client objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or related experience/training.
• Proficiency with personal computers and mobile devices.
• Food safety certification or permit if required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies, ensuring cleanliness and security.
• Communicate with store management about upcoming events when supervisor is absent.
• Be the point person for all events in the store and assist teammates as needed.
• Provide leadership and product knowledge to the team when guiding events.
• Explain product features and benefits to consumers to drive sales.
• Prepare and serve samples safely using appliances and raw ingredients as applicable.
