Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Advanced Repair Technician (Agent) to work at the Merced store. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair devices, providing exceptional customer service both in-store and over the phone.

You’ll collaborate with team members and maintain clear documentation of repairs and customer requests. The role requires at least 6 months of experience with consumer electronics and a willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting or repairing technology products.
• Experience actively using and learning about consumer electronics.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot or repair devices and assist customers in-person or over the phone.
• Establish and maintain rhythms for timely follow-up and meet or exceed expectations.
• Document customer requests and repairs with team members.
• Ensure repair tasks are completed timely and escalate issues with leaders.
• Maintain knowledge, skills and certifications through training courses.
