Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Customer Sales Associate in Trane Supply stores. You will be the trusted advisor for customers, helping with parts or equipment issues and delivering high-quality parts promptly while striving to meet sales goals.

Solid product knowledge and problem-solving skills will drive a premier customer experience. You will process orders, respond to inquiries, and support warehouse tasks as needed, interacting with customers in-person and by phone.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.
• Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to customers and find the best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Partners with customers to grow sales by identifying related products or add on extensions.
• Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions or complaints regarding Parts and Supply offerings and offer solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and future sales.
• Keep current on knowledge of Trane Products, offerings, and promotions in order to provide a premier customer experience and drive sales.
• Interact with customers both on the phone and in person.
• Executes quote and order management processes with high level of accuracy to expedite the fulfillment process and ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery – entering quotes and invoices and follow through on fulfillment.
• Assists with warehouse/inventory management work as needed.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
