Job summary

Intuit is seeking an in-person Customer Advisor to deliver a world-class, hospitality-driven experience at our Southern California stores. You will warmly greet customers, listen to their needs, and guide them to the right TurboTax services or experts.

This year-round, non-exempt role requires 20+ hours weekly with peak-season up to 40 hours, and offers a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with company match, health coverage, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of experience in a relevant field such as hospitality, customer service, guest relations, or another high-touch customer-facing role.
• A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and resolving customer needs through effective communication and empathy.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a hospitality, retail service, or guest-relations environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet customers as they enter the store, setting a welcoming, professional tone from the very first moment
• Listen attentively and ask thoughtful questions to understand each customer's unique situation, concerns, and needs
• Serve as a knowledgeable guide, helping customers understand their options and feel confident they are being directed to the right service or expert
• Accompany customers through their entire experience, from arrival to a smooth hand-off, ensuring every touchpoint feels personal, clear, and supportive
• Reduce friction at every step: answer questions, resolve concerns, and remove obstacles so the customer experience is as effortless as possible
• Follow up thoughtfully with customers to ensure they received the support they needed and that any outstanding questions are resolved
