O’Reilly Auto Parts in Sylacauga, AL seeks a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers and to support store management in daily tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and may assist with both in-store and phone inquiries.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, looking up parts, handling cash and returns, and performing store operations such as stocking and planogram updates.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists for professional customers as needed.
• Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions securely and accurately.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per company policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Perform daily store operations: stocking, planogram updates, inventory counts, and related tasks.
• Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training.
• Provide in-store services (e.g., battery tests, wiper installs) as allowed by state law.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
