Ampact’s Math Corps invites you to join as a Math Tutor, delivering targeted math support in local schools. You’ll guide groups of students through practice and track progress with coaching support. Training is provided to help you grow in the role.

Position runs during the 2026-27 school year with daytime hours on weekdays. We offer AmeriCorps benefits, education assistance, and a supportive team committed to student success.

Qualifications

• Dependable with good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve from feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (email, online navigation).
• fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18+ with a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Able to complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Track student progress and meet with onsite coach regularly.
• Enter student scores into data software after assessments.
• Commit to growth through coaching and training.
• Share your tutoring experiences with the community.
