Job summary

Omni Hotels in Houston is seeking an In-Room Dining Attendant who will be the primary contact for guests seeking five-diamond in-room dining. You will close checks to the correct account and ensure timely, accurate delivery of every order.

You will set up trays, coordinate with kitchen and bar, take orders by phone or in person, deliver meals to rooms and meeting spaces, and handle payments professionally.

Responsibilities

• Follow Omni guidelines to upsell for revenue and guest satisfaction.
• Process and expedite Select Guest orders.
• Follow Moments of Service for receiving guest orders by phone or in person.
• Confirm details of each guest order, quoting accurate delivery items and following up on items.
• Set up room service trays and tables for incoming orders.
• Retrieve checks, set tables, retrieve food and beverage orders and deliver to rooms.
• Serve meals, collect trays and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Present checks and obtain payment.
• Close out all payments/signed checks.
• Answer room service calls and take orders.
• Serve beverages per regulations.
• Enter guest orders into MICROS per Omni standards.
• Communicate order details to Kitchen/Delivery teams according to standards.
• Coordinate with other Attendants to ensure accurate deliveries.
