Job summary

Omni Charlotte Hotel is seeking an In-Room Dining Server to provide high quality service and memorable experiences for our guests through in-room dining, including telephone order taking and food delivery.

You will be responsible for knowledge of the menu, accurate order input in Micros, and delivering with professional hospitality across AM/PM shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and communication skills both written and verbal.
• Enthusiastic and friendly with a positive attitude.
• Prior food and beverage experience in fine dining or hotel.
• Room Service experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible AM/PM schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Minimum high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality service standards and memorable experiences for guests through In-Room Dining Service, including telephone orders and deliveries.
• Answer phone within 3 rings, input orders, and ensure accurate tickets.
• Deliver food based on steps of service and greet guests professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, promotions, and options for IRD guests.
• Complete paperwork, manage cash, and drop funds after shifts.
• Support outlets management and other F&B duties as assigned.
