Job summary

Omni Hotels in Houston seeks an In-Room Dining Cashier to be the primary guest contact for five-diamond in-room dining experiences. You will close checks, relay order details to kitchen and room service, and ensure accurate delivery of meals and beverages.

The role requires a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends, strong English communication, computer/phone skills, and prior customer service or cashiering experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Previous cashiering experience preferred.
• Clear English verbal and written communication.
• Working knowledge of computers and telephone systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow Omni guidelines for up-selling to enhance revenue and guest satisfaction.
• Process and expedite Select Guest orders.
• Follow Moments of Service guidelines for receiving guest orders via telephone and online.
• Confirm order details and pricing, communicating with Kitchen and Room Service.
• Enter guest orders into MICROS POS according to Omni standards.
• Communicate order details to Kitchen and Room Service to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with In Room Dining Servers to ensure orders meet guest specifications.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
