Job summary

Montage International is hiring a Telephone Sales Agent to support In-Room Dining by answering calls and taking guest orders via phone or digital channels. You’ll describe menu items, manage allergies, and enter orders into the POS system accurately.

You’ll upsell promotions, process payments, and help with emails and supplies while keeping the workspace tidy. Work schedule includes weekends/holidays; strong customer service, basic communication, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle incoming calls and take guest orders via phone or digital platforms.
• Comfort describing menu items, ingredients, allergens, and dietary needs.
• Experience with cash handling and processing payments.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays and collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and take guests’ orders via phone or digital platforms.
• Provide menu recommendations and address guest inquiries.
• Enter guest orders into POS accurately with all modifications.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery.
• Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance revenue.
• Process payments including cash, cards, and room charges.
• Assist with emails, ordering supplies, and data entry as needed.
• Keep the office area clean and organized.
• Close out cash banks and payout servers when needed.
• Deliver WOW moments and support guests’ expectations.
