Job summary

Montage Deer Valley is seeking a guest-focused server to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a luxury resort setting. You will engage guests, explain menu details, handle dietary requests, and ensure orders are accurate and timely.

You’ll work closely with a team to create memorable moments for our guests. You will enjoy a range of benefits and the chance to grow within a premium hospitality brand, with opportunities to participate in community events and training programs.

Qualifications

• One year minimum of experience in food & beverage operations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Basic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food and beverages are served in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist guests with menu selections and answer questions about ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary restrictions.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay modifications to the kitchen.
• Anticipate guest needs during service and offer desserts or coffee options.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
• Promote menu items and specials to guests using suggestive selling techniques.
• Adhere to cleaning and safety standards.
• Attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Follow the established food & beverage sequence of service with attention to detail.
• Deliver WOW moments and be flexible with additional duties as needed.
