OrthoLA is seeking a dedicated front desk representative to manage patient intake at our Thibodaux clinic. The role supports patient flow at point-of-entry, handles check-in/out, insurance verification, and copay collection, while entering demographics into EMR and scheduling follow-ups.

It requires excellent communication and a professional demeanor in a fast-paced setting. The position is in-person, full-time, non-exempt, with standard Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a medical office is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical scheduling systems is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients and visitors at entry.
• Assist with patient check-in/check-out.
• Verify insurance.
• Collect copays and deductibles.
• Enter patient demographics into EMR and practice management systems.
• Schedule follow-up appointments.
• Maintain reception area in a neat, orderly condition.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
