Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is hiring a Verification Assurance Officer for our Wells location. You will interview claimants, verify document validity, and work with Jobcentre colleagues to prevent fraud on the frontline. Frequent site presence is required, with travel between sites as needed.

The role focuses on strengthening verification controls, educating customers on responsibilities, and reporting MI trends to risk teams.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting evidence interviews and verifying documents.
• Strong communication skills and ability to educate customers.
• Ability to collate and present MI data for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and further evidence interviews with claimants.
• Verify identification, housing costs and other claim elements.
• Lead meetings with customers when evidence is requested.
• Provide feedback on fraud trends at office meetings.
• Run customer education sessions with Jobcentre colleagues.
• Maintain accurate MI as directed by analysts and teams.
