Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university plus at least one year of underwriting or equivalent experience and education.
• Strong computer skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Excellent organization, analytics, and both oral and written communication.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work with data accuracy.
• Customer service and teamwork mindset with professional attitude.
• Ability to interact with various levels to cross-sell or address processing needs.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and analyze new business and renewal submissions.
• Ensure marketing initiatives are met and communicate products to appointed brokers.
• Develop broker relationships and establish new opportunities.
• Maintain a pipeline to achieve production and business mix objectives.
