Evans & Dixon LLC in Chicago seeks an experienced Paralegal to support attorneys from case inception to closure. You will schedule depositions, manage medical records, and coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and medical experts in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of workers' compensation or personal injury defense experience, excellent writing and editing abilities, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two plus years of applicable legal experience required.
• Experience in workers' compensation defense & personal injury.

Responsibilities

• Schedule depositions and medical examinations for attorneys.
• Order, obtain, and summarize medical records for active files.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and medical specialists.
• File and organize exhibitions, briefs, appeals, and other documents; maintain records for each case.
• Provide administrative support to multiple attorneys; monitor deadlines and calendars.
