Job summary

Evans & Dixon is seeking an experienced Paralegal for our Chicago, IL office. You will support attorneys, organize case files, monitor timelines, and handle all aspects of cases from start to finish.

The role emphasizes strong writing, multitasking, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have at least two years in workers' compensation defense or personal injury defense, are proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook, and can work collaboratively in a team-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of applicable legal experience in workers' compensation defense or personal injury defense.
• Ability to work in-office on a full-time basis.
• Excellent writing, typing, and editing skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule depositions and medical exams and manage attorney calendars.
• Order, obtain, and summarize medical records for active files.
• Maintain case files and monitor deadlines, filings, and billing.
• Prepare and organize exhibitions, briefs, appeals, and other legal documents.
• Provide general administrative support to multiple attorneys.
