Job summary

Georgfischer in Irvine is seeking an Order Management Specialist Level 1 to accurately process customer orders and track interactions in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The role focuses on timely order fulfillment and handling basic discrepancies while collaborating with internal teams via Microsoft Teams.

The candidate will manage order entry, verify availability, communicate delivery dates, and monitor backorders. Strong Excel/Office skills and three years’ experience in order management are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in order management, customer service or administrative support.
• Experience in operations or manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP systems incl. SAP and CRM (Dynamics) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process all order administration activities and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Check open orders, availability, and monitor delivery times with customer notes.
• Advise customers/suppliers/transporters about orders, shortages, delivery dates, and price changes.
• Monitor backorder releases and ensure timely order release per standards.
• Resolve order issues and processing errors.
• Prepare reports on inquiries, sales trends, complaints, and returns.
• Coordinate complaint handling and returns with SAP entries.
