Job summary

Georgfischer in Dallas seeks an Order Management Specialist Level 1 to process customer orders accurately in SAP and track interactions in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. You will ensure timely fulfillment and coordinate with internal teams to resolve basic discrepancies.

The role requires strong Excel and Office skills, attention to detail, effective written and spoken communication, and the ability to work Monday through Friday in office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of experience in order management or customer service.
• Knowledge of ERP SAP and CRM Dynamics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes order entry and logistics for both EDI and non-EDI orders.
• Checks open orders and article availability; monitors delivery times and sends confirmations.
• Advises customers, suppliers, and transport firms about orders, shortages, dates, price changes and deviations.
• Monitors backorder releases, checks availability, and sets delivery dates.
• Resolves order processing issues and errors promptly.
• Prepares reports on customer inquiries, sales trends and complaints.
• Coordinates complaint handling and tracks status with customers.
