Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking an Assistant Operating Director (AOD) in Texas to lead in-office operations and staff development in a fast-growing home care environment. You will oversee scheduling, client care quality, and daily workflows while partnering with the Operating Director.

You will onboard and train office staff, conduct weekly check-ins, and manage on-call rotations. The role requires autonomy, strong communication, and a passion for developing teams that deliver compassionate

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management, leadership operations, or HR experience.
• Experience hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and supervising staff.
• Healthcare/home care leadership experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the in-office partner supporting the Operating Director and drive daily operations.
• Lead, coach, and support in-office staff; reinforce Cornerstone's standards and culture.
• Onboard and train new office managers; conduct weekly 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Share on-call rotation with office leadership and manage payroll notes and scheduling updates.
• Oversee scheduling operations to ensure client coverage and quality care; respond to escalations.
• Maintain state-required supervisory visits and assist with client assessments when needed.
