Addus HomeCare in Colville, WA is seeking a Service Coordinator to schedule and supervise in-home care workers, ensuring high-quality service and timely updates to clients. You will manage caregiver assignments, handle client changes, and help keep care plans on track in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes coordination, communication, and compliance with Medicaid/HIPAA regulations while supporting field staff and clients across the geographic area.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of industry experience required.
• Supervisory and/or home care experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage work schedules in the scheduling system and adjust for client requests, illness, vacation or leaves.
• Provide alternate coverage to keep the care plan on track and avoid interruptions.
• Contact care providers and clients to share service updates.
• Perform monthly client wellness calls and in-home visits as needed.
• Address escalated client complaints and theft claims with thorough follow-through.
• Supervise direct service staff and enforce attendance, performance and conduct policies.
• Keep the branch environment professional: neat, clean, and organized.
• Maintain strict confidentiality due to access to sensitive information.
• Keep regular, predictable attendance and be flexible to meet agency needs.
• Follow all regulations including MCO, Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA.
