Addus Homecare is seeking a Service Coordinator to lead caregiver scheduling, monitor service quality, and conduct in-home visits. You will be the go-to problem solver for scheduling, client updates, and ensuring care plans stay on track in a fast-paced homecare environment.

The role emphasizes strong organizational and communication skills, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years of office experience.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Creates work schedules by entering schedules into the system and managing changes requested by clients or due to illness, vacation, or leave.
• Provides alternate coverage to ensure the client’s care plan is followed and services are not interrupted.
• Contacts care providers and clients to provide service updates.
• Conducts monthly client wellness calls and home visits as required.
• Handles escalated client complaints and theft claims with thorough follow-through.
• Supervises direct care staff by setting attendance, performance, and conduct expectations.
• Maintains professional branch environment and confidentiality at all times.
• Follows all regulatory requirements and company policies.
