Job summary

Ghafari Associates seeks an in-office Architecture internship in Dearborn, MI for May–August 2027. Under supervision, you will assist in executing office and project-related design and technical tasks of simple to moderate complexity.

You will read construction documents, create as-built drawings, set up CAD/Revit files, and support design tasks with supervision while developing professional communication with project teams.

Qualifications

• Currently a student actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Fine Arts/Interiors, Construction Management, or related engineering discipline.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Read and field-check existing construction documents and document architectural conditions.
• Produce as-built drawings and develop architectural backgrounds.
• Set up AutoCAD and Revit files per standards and produce construction documents.
• Assist with design tasks and technical documentation under supervision.
• Support programming sessions and prepare programming documents and materials.
