Job summary

Ghafari Associates, LLC is seeking an engineering intern to work fully in-office in Dearborn, MI or Birmingham, AL for May–August 2027. The role focuses on applying CAD/Revit skills to generate engineering design documents and 3D models.

You will work under the discipline Manager and project engineers, learn from engineers, and contribute to document coordination and production tasks in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in engineering; completed at least two years.
• Prior internship/co-op experience is a plus.
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD and strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Create engineering documents using CAD in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Collaborate with engineers during design to understand scope and data needs.
• Provide limited design input and finalize documents with engineer input.
• Check document integration and coordinate disciplines across teams.
• Produce drawings and 3D models as needed.
• Assist with reproduction and distribution of documents.
• Support team with problem solving and project tasks.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
