Job summary

Addison Group in Queens, NY is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support invoice processing, timely payments, vendor account maintenance, and accurate AP records.

The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills, and professional bilingual Spanish-English communication. Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP and AP automation tools is preferred; this is an in-office, 40-hour-a-week position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, or related function.
• Professional-level Spanish language proficiency (English + Spanish).
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP and Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Familiarity with AP automation and payment platforms (Tipalti, Coupa).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial data.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing: Review, code, and enter invoices; verify documentation and approvals.
• Payments & Vendor Accounts: Prepare and process checks, ACH, and electronic payments; manage vendor data.
• AP Records & Reporting: Maintain AP records; prepare routine AP reports; support audits.
• Vendor Communication: Respond to inquiries; resolve discrepancies; maintain vendor relations.
• Reconciliations & Month-End: Assist with reconciliations and month-end close with AP data.
• Compliance & Process Improvement: Follow policies and assist with improving AP workflows.
• Audit & Ad Hoc Support: Provide AP data for audits and special projects.
