Job summary
Evolve Therapy Services in Selma, AL seeks a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility. This position is available as Full Time, Part Time, or PRN and focuses on assisting the Physical Therapist to provide high-quality resident care.
Responsibilities include screenings, treatment planning cooperation, and group/individual therapy, with documentation in NetHealth EMR. Candidates must hold an Associate degree in PTA and an active AL license, with ongoing
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
- Active PTA license in state of practice.
- Commitment to ongoing continuing education and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Provide PT services to residents under supervision of the PT.
- Conduct screenings to determine needs for intervention/treatment.
- Assist in evaluations and in developing treatment plans with the PT.
- Assist in selecting techniques and activities per resident plan.
- Monitor resident responses and modify plans in consultation with the PT.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating resident therapy sessions and education.
- Document compliant and medically necessary data in CMS/NetHealth EMR as required.
