Job summary

Aureate Group in Tampa, FL is hiring an in-house IT Support Specialist to move day-to-day IT support in-house from our MSP. You will be the go-to person for employee technology, handling onboarding and offboarding, license management, and end-user support across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Microsoft 365.

You will implement an internal ticketing system, maintain device inventories, ensure security basics like MFA, and assist with email security and account management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an IT support, help desk, or desktop support role.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365: admin center, Exchange Online, Entra ID, licensing, and Teams.
• Comfortable supporting Windows and macOS, plus iOS devices.
• Working knowledge of MFA, password management, and account security practices.
• Clear, patient communication with non-technical people, in person and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding and offboarding employees in Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Prepare and hand off devices for new hires to be productive on day one.
• Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, iPhone, printers, and common apps.
• Provide remote desktop support for employees at other offices or job sites.
• Track requests in the ticketing system and resolve with users.
