Job summary

Northeast Family Services is hiring In-Home Therapists to deliver structured, strength-based interventions in clients’ homes, focusing on youth behavioral needs. This role supports families and emphasizes cultural responsiveness across Massachusetts communities.

The position offers full-time or FFS hours, bilingual opportunities, and competitive compensation with a $3,000 stay-on bonus at six months. Drivers with a reliable vehicle are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, special education or related field.
• 1–2 years experience with multicultural families.
• 1–2 years experience with children, youth and families in home/community settings.
• Experience with behavioral-emotional disorders or autism.
• ABA training is beneficial and desirable.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle access.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. — no visa sponsorship at this time.
• Laptop/ CPS and high-speed internet access required for FFS positions; internet access required for full-time.

Responsibilities

• Provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapies in clients' homes.
• Address behavioral needs of youths and collaborate with families.
• Support licensed clinicians and supervise licensure trajectories as needed.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches and document progress in a timely manner.

The In-Home Therapist will provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home for the purpose of treating a youth’s behavioral needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, special education or related field
• One to two years minimum experience working with multicultural families
• One to two years minimum experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting preferred
• Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders or children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Training in Applied Behavioral Analysis is highly beneficial and desirable
• Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle

• Access to a laptop or CPS, high speed secure internet, and a phone required for FFS positions

Compensation

• Full-Time: Salary $64,000 to $72,000 $3000 Stay on Bonus at 6 months Incentive Rate $60/hour over productivity
• Fee-for-Service: $50 to $70 per hour
