Job summary

Northeast Family Services in Massachusetts is hiring a Bilingual In-Home Therapist to provide structured, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a youth’s home to address behavioral needs.

The qualifications include fluent Spanish and/or Portuguese, a Master’s degree in counseling, psychology or related field, 1–2 years with multicultural families and with children in home or community settings, driving eligibility, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience with multicultural families.
• 1–2 years experience with children/youth in home or community settings.
• Experience with behavioral-emotional disorders or autism spectrum disorders helpful.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• US work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Provide structured, strength-based in-home therapy for youths.
• Collaborate with families to implement treatment plans.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese-Required
• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, special education or related field
• One to two years minimum experience working with multicultural families
• One to two years minimum experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting preferred
• Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders or children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Training in Applied Behavioral Analysis is highly beneficial and desirable
• Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time
• Access to a laptop or CPS, high speed secure internet, and a phone required for FFS positions
• Access to high speed secure internet required for Full Time positions

Compensation:

• Full-Time:
  Salary $64,000 to $72,000
  $3000 Stay on Bonus at 6 months
  Incentive Rate $60/hour over productivity
  
• Fee-for-Service:
  $50 to $70 per hour
