Job summary

Best Buy is seeking an In-Home Installation Technician to deliver, install, integrate and troubleshoot tech products in customers' homes. You’ll tailor solutions to lifestyles, consult with customers and coordinate with Geek Squad teams to meet goals.

You’ll perform installations, networking and troubleshooting of devices, manage inventory, and uphold safety standards while guiding customers through setups and product benefits. This role emphasizes responsiveness and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current, valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds alone; 150 pounds with a team.
• Able to lift up to 250 pounds with support tools.
• 6 months of consumer electronics delivery, installation, integration and troubleshooting experience.
• 6 months of customer service experience.
• 6 months of installation/integration/troubleshooting of advanced consumer electronics products (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide a seamless customer experience by advising and fulfilling on lifestyle recommendations regarding products and services.
• Provide a variety of fulfillment duties including delivery, installation, integration, networking and troubleshooting consumer electronics devices.
• Take the lead on two-person jobs and perform other work alone.
• Manage inventory and vehicle maintenance, process paperwork and payment, provide feedback and training opportunities, and follow safety guidelines.
