Job summary

Best Buy is seeking an In-Home Installation Technician to deliver, install, integrate and troubleshoot home theater, computing, smart home, and networking products in customers' homes. You will partner with Geek Squad Agents and other teams to drive Best Buy's initiatives and ensure a seamless experience for customers.

You will lead two-person jobs, handle inventory and safety, and provide expert recommendations to meet customers' technology needs.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have a current, valid driver's license and maintain a driving record meeting Best Buy safety standards.
Ability to acquire and maintain any state/local licensing as required within 90 days of hire.
Ability to lift up to 75 lb alone, up to 150 lb with a two-person team, and up to 250 lb with team and tools.
6 months of consumer electronics delivery, installation, integration and troubleshooting experience.
6 months of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide seamless customer experience by advising on lifestyle product choices.
Fulfill delivery, installation, integration, networking and troubleshooting for consumer electronics.
Lead two-person jobs and perform tasks alone when needed.
Manage inventory, vehicle maintenance, paperwork and payments; provide safety guidance and training.
