Job summary

Best Buy is seeking an In-Home Installation Technician to deliver, install, integrate and troubleshoot technology products in customers' homes. You will assess needs through conversation and recommend solutions that fit the customer’s lifestyle, collaborating with Geek Squad and other teams to meet strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy safety standards.
• Ability to lift weight up to 75 pounds with or without accommodation; up to 150 pounds with a teammate; up to 250 pounds with tools.
• 6 months of consumer electronics delivery, installation, integration and troubleshooting experience.
• 6 months of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on lifestyle product and service recommendations and complete orders.
• Deliver, install, integrate, network, and troubleshoot consumer electronics devices.
• Lead two-person jobs and perform tasks independently when needed.
• Manage inventory, vehicle maintenance, paperwork, and safety compliance.
