Job summary

Best Buy is seeking an In-Home Installation Technician to deliver, install, integrate and troubleshoot a range of home tech products in customers’ homes. You’ll advise customers on lifestyle solutions and collaborate with Geek Squad agents, store staff and partners to meet company goals.

The role emphasizes two-person jobs, inventory control, safety, and top-notch customer service. A valid driver's license and physical ability to lift heavy items are required.

Qualifications

• 6 months of consumer electronics delivery, installation, integration and troubleshooting experience.
• 6 months of customer service experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have current, valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record meeting Best Buy safety standards.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs; up to 150 lbs as part of a team; up to 250 lbs with tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide seamless customer experience by advising on lifestyle product choices.
• Fulfill delivery, installation, integration, networking and troubleshooting tasks.
• Lead two-person jobs and work independently when required.
• Manage inventory, vehicle maintenance, paperwork and payments; follow safety guidelines.
