Job summary

Best Buy In-Home Installation Technician role involves delivering, installing, integrating, and troubleshooting tech products in customers’ homes. You’ll tailor solutions to fit customers’ lifestyles and technology needs, working with Geek Squad Agents and other teams to support Best Buy’s strategy.

You’ll perform both solo and two-person jobs, manage inventory and vehicle upkeep, and follow safety guidelines while providing excellent service. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have current, valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record meeting safety standards.
• Ability to obtain any required state/local licensing within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs solo and up to 150 lbs with a team, and up to 250 lbs with tools.
• 6 months of consumer electronics delivery/installation experience.
• 6 months of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers and fulfill lifestyle product recommendations.
• Handle delivery, installation, integration, networking and troubleshooting of devices.
• Lead two-person jobs and perform tasks solo as needed.
• Manage inventory, vehicle maintenance, paperwork, payments and safety compliance.
